Our mission :

The Agence ITER France was created in 2006 within the CEA (Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives) in Cadarache. Its role is to implement the French commitments for the development of the ITER project on the French territory of Cadarache.

The Welcome Office is part of the Agence ITER France : its specific mission is to offer a wide range of dedicated services to the different types of staff involved in the ITER project : ITER Organization Directly Employed Staff, staff from Domestic Agencies, Visiting Researchers, Interns and ITER Project Associates.

The Welcome Office is their interface with the French authorities for visa and residence permits procedures, and according to their status, for driving licenses, car registration, customs inventories…

It also helps the ITER staff find their new house or apartment.

The Welcome Office has also gained extensive experience in intercultural exchanges and offers an intercultural and language program for the ITER staff and their spouses.

The Welcome Office of the Agence ITER France and the Human Resources Division of the ITER Organization are two different services.
