As IPA, your Home Institute is responsible for ensuring that you (and your accompanying family members, if applicable) have the appropriate mandatory insurance cover (in particular medical) to work and reside in France.
Medical insurance, as well as any social security requirements, pension, death and disability during your assignment in France, are not managed or covered by the ITER Organization.
Note that travel insurance covering temporary needs only is not considered as appropriate insurance cover.
